Terms and Booking Conditions

EddyLine UK is a trading name of Declan Rooney, sole trader.

1. Services

EddyLine UK provides facilitation and consultancy services including Leadership Pause, Team Reset, Team Alignment, Team Summit, and related scoped support.

2. Proposals and scope

Work is delivered in line with the agreed proposal, written scope, or booking confirmation.

Any changes to the agreed scope, format, duration, participant context, or support requirements may require revised pricing and written confirmation before additional work is undertaken.

3. Fees and payment

Fees are set out in proposals, booking confirmations, or published public pricing where applicable.

Invoices must be paid in accordance with the payment terms stated on the invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Any additional agreed expenses, venue costs, travel, accommodation, activity-provider charges, or other third-party costs will be stated separately where relevant.

4. Booking confirmation

A booking is confirmed once the scope, price, and date are agreed and written confirmation has been provided by EddyLine UK or the client, depending on the arrangement.

5. Cancellations and postponements

If a client needs to cancel or postpone booked work, EddyLine UK should be informed as soon as possible.

Where significant preparation, scheduling, venue coordination, or reserved delivery time has already been committed, cancellation or postponement charges may apply.

Any such terms should be stated in the proposal, booking confirmation, or scoped agreement.

6. Client responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information relevant to the work, including participant context, organisational considerations, practical logistics, and any factors that could reasonably affect safe and effective delivery.

Where a venue, activity provider, or third party is involved, the client remains responsible for ensuring suitable arrangements unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing.

7. Delivery and outcomes

EddyLine UK will deliver services with reasonable skill, care, and professional judgement.

Because facilitation and team work depend on participant context, engagement, organisational conditions, and factors beyond direct control, specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

8. Confidentiality

Information shared during the course of work will be treated with appropriate confidentiality except where disclosure is required by law or where there is a serious safeguarding, safety, or legal concern.

9. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, materials, frameworks, written content, and service documentation created by EddyLine UK remain the intellectual property of EddyLine UK.

Clients may use final agreed materials for their own internal purposes unless otherwise stated in writing.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EddyLine UK’s liability in relation to any claim arising from services provided shall be limited to the amount paid by the client for the relevant services.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

11. Safeguarding and under-18s

EddyLine UK services are primarily designed for adult professional contexts unless otherwise explicitly agreed in advance.

Where any work may involve participants under 18, this must be disclosed before booking so that appropriate suitability, safeguarding, consent, supervision, and delivery arrangements can be considered.

EddyLine UK reserves the right to decline, limit, postpone, or re-scope work where suitable safeguarding arrangements are not in place.

12. Data protection

Personal data will be handled in line with the EddyLine UK Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales unless otherwise required by applicable law.

The Graduate Reset and Grad Check

This section applies to bookings, proposals and delivery connected with The Graduate Reset, including Graduate Reset Core, Graduate Reset Intensive and any agreed Plus or enhanced support options.

The Graduate Reset is a graduate-to-professional transition programme for employers. It is designed to support graduates, trainees and early-career employees as they move from academic success into professional working life.

The exact scope, format, dates, fees, deliverables and follow-up arrangements will be set out in the relevant proposal, quote, booking confirmation or written agreement.

Programme scope

The Graduate Reset may include Grad Check, employer or manager baseline input, facilitated delivery, participant materials, scenario-based exercises, employer debrief, cohort-level reporting, manager reinforcement points and follow-up activity.

The Graduate Reset is the main programme route. Graduate Reset Core is a focused two-day route for immediate graduate-to-professional transition friction. Graduate Reset Intensive is a compressed delivery route. Plus options may add enhanced reporting, manager involvement, extended reinforcement, additional follow-up or wider implementation support where agreed.

Only the items confirmed in the accepted proposal, quote or booking confirmation are included in the booked service.

Graduate Reset Core

Graduate Reset Core is a focused two-day route within The Graduate Reset.

Unless agreed otherwise in writing, Graduate Reset Core includes:

initial scoping;

Grad Check;

employer or manager baseline input;

two facilitated delivery days;

participant materials;

scenario-based workplace exercises;

participant action commitments;

employer debrief;

cohort-level PDF report;

manager reinforcement points;

standard 30-day check-back.

Additional manager workshops, extended reporting, further follow-up, additional cohorts, travel, accommodation, wider consultancy or Plus-level support are not included unless expressly agreed in writing.

Grad Check

Grad Check is a practical readiness diagnostic used within The Graduate Reset. It helps EddyLine UK understand transition friction, delivery priorities and cohort-level development themes before and during the programme.

Grad Check is not a psychometric test, personality profile, clinical assessment, recruitment selection tool, performance-management process, disciplinary process or pass/fail assessment.

Grad Check is used to support development. It is not designed to rank graduates, label individuals or decide whether someone should be hired, retained, promoted, dismissed or formally managed under an HR process.

What The Graduate Reset is not

The Graduate Reset is not:

psychometric testing;

personality profiling;

clinical assessment;

recruitment selection;

performance management;

disciplinary investigation;

HR investigation;

legal advice;

therapy, counselling or medical support;

a substitute for onboarding;

a substitute for line management;

a guarantee of behaviour change, retention, performance improvement or commercial outcome.

EddyLine UK delivers The Graduate Reset with reasonable care and skill, but outcomes also depend on participant engagement, employer context, manager reinforcement, organisational clarity and the actions taken after delivery.

Client responsibilities

The client is responsible for providing accurate and relevant information before and during the programme.

This may include cohort information, participant numbers, names, roles, departments, start dates, workplace context, access needs, delivery requirements, manager or employer baseline input, known sensitivities and desired outcomes.

The client is also responsible for:

supporting completion of Grad Check where applicable;

protecting participant attendance and engagement;

ensuring relevant managers or sponsors provide baseline input where required;

respecting the agreed reporting boundaries;

attending agreed debriefs;

reinforcing appropriate learning after delivery;

managing any employment, HR, legal, safeguarding, wellbeing or performance matters through the client’s own proper processes.

The Graduate Reset supports transition and development. It does not remove the client’s responsibility to set clear expectations, manage employees appropriately and provide suitable workplace support.

Reporting boundaries

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, EddyLine UK reports Graduate Reset and Grad Check findings at cohort level.

Individual raw Grad Check responses are not automatically shared with the employer as standard.

Participant notes, private reflections and raw individual responses are treated as development material. They are used to help EddyLine UK understand themes, shape delivery and prepare appropriate cohort-level feedback.

Graduate Reset reports are development documents. They should not be used as standalone disciplinary evidence, formal performance-management records, recruitment-selection material or a substitute for proper HR process.

Where a cohort is very small, including one-to-one or very small group delivery, full anonymity cannot be guaranteed. In those cases, EddyLine UK will take care to report proportionately and avoid presenting development material as individual judgement.

Sensitive issues

Participants are not required to disclose deeply personal, clinical or sensitive information during Grad Check or programme delivery.

If a participant chooses to disclose sensitive information, EddyLine UK will handle it carefully and proportionately.

Where EddyLine UK becomes aware of a safeguarding, safety, legal, wellbeing, serious conduct or other significant concern, EddyLine UK may need to act proportionately. This may include pausing discussion, signposting the issue, raising an appropriate concern with the client or taking another reasonable step depending on the circumstances.

Cancellation, postponement and preparation work

The Graduate Reset may involve substantial preparation before delivery takes place. This may include scoping, administration, Grad Check setup, participant communication, employer baseline review, response review, interpretation, delivery planning, materials preparation, diary protection and travel planning.

If a Graduate Reset booking is cancelled, postponed or rescheduled after preparation has begun, EddyLine UK may charge for work already completed, time reserved, materials prepared, administration undertaken and any non-refundable costs incurred.

Where Grad Check has been issued, reviewed or interpreted, or where delivery preparation has materially begun, EddyLine UK may charge a reasonable preparation and administration fee even if the delivery dates are later cancelled or postponed.

Where delivery dates have been reserved, cancellation or postponement may also be subject to the wider cancellation terms set out in these Terms and Booking Conditions and any specific terms included in the proposal, quote or booking confirmation.

If the client fails to provide required information, delays Grad Check completion, changes the cohort, fails to protect participant attendance or materially changes the agreed scope, EddyLine UK may need to revise the delivery plan, postpone delivery, amend the fee or charge for additional preparation time.

Intellectual property and materials

All Graduate Reset materials remain the intellectual property of EddyLine UK unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

This includes Grad Check, the Seven Professional Readiness Areas, programme structure, delivery model, scenario materials, participant materials, facilitator materials, templates, reports, debrief structures, manager reinforcement materials, written guidance, slides, exercises, prompts, tools and supporting documents.

The client may use agreed reports and materials internally for the purpose for which they were supplied.

The client must not copy, reproduce, adapt, publish, resell, distribute, upload, train others from, create derivative works from or use EddyLine UK materials to create its own training, diagnostic, consultancy or development product without written permission.

No licence is granted beyond the internal use expressly connected with the booked service.

Use of reports

Graduate Reset reports may be used internally by the client for development, manager reinforcement, follow-up planning and internal learning connected with the agreed programme.

Reports must not be published, sold, shared externally, copied into commercial materials, adapted into another product or used for marketing without written permission from EddyLine UK.

Reports must not be used as formal disciplinary evidence, standalone performance-management records or recruitment-selection material unless this has been expressly agreed in writing and the client has taken its own appropriate HR, legal and data protection advice.

Feedback, testimonials and case studies

EddyLine UK may ask clients and participants for feedback to improve The Graduate Reset and related services.

Feedback may be used internally for programme improvement, quality control, learning and service development.

Named testimonials, logos, case studies, quotes or public references will only be used with appropriate permission.

Where feedback is anonymised and does not identify the client, participants or individuals, EddyLine UK may use it internally to improve the programme and understand wider delivery themes.

Data protection

Personal data connected with The Graduate Reset and Grad Check is handled in line with the EddyLine UK Privacy Policy.

The client is responsible for ensuring that it has an appropriate basis for sharing relevant participant, manager and employer information with EddyLine UK for the purpose of scoping, booking, delivering and following up the agreed service.
